Activities & Events
Azalea Estates of Fayetteville proudly employs a full time activity director who has been with us for over 15 years. Her sole responsibility is to find out what activities our assisted living and independent living residents prefer and create a calendar of events around them. She work diligently to make sure that our events, parties, speakers, and outings will peak the interest of residents and keep them involved in social activities.
We are fortunate to be located in a marvelous area of Fayette County and really could be considered a part of greater Atlanta. This allows us to take day and night trips to cultural events such as Fox Theatre productions, concerts, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens or even taken in a Braves baseball game in greater Atlanta. Many times though we will stay in the Fayetteville or Peachtree City area and take part in local events nearby. It is not necessary for residents to leave the property to have a great time. Our activities directors can transform our common areas into a haunted mansion for Halloween or a gorgeous ballroom for our Valentine’s dance.
For those that are interested in learning more about a wide variety of topics we bring in fabulous and knowledgeable speakers for educational seminars. The subjects include everything from learning more about current events going on in Fayetteville and surrounding areas to topical national and world subject matter.
Azalea Estates not only provides residents the opportunity to be entertained, but to give back to the Fayetteville community as well. For example, our knitting club makes tiny hats and blankets for newborns at Piedmont Fayette hospital.
Important to note, we have worship services and bible studies throughout the week with local area pastors leading the services and studies. Transportation to local churches is also available on Sundays.
We would love for you to visit us and participate in one of exciting events or activities. We live a wonderful and engaging life at Azalea and all these activities are a significant reason why.
