Licensed Assisted Living · Fayetteville, GAAssisted Living
Personalized care plans, on-site licensed nursing, and 24/7 staffing, delivered with warmth in a community that feels like home.
One of only two licensed assisted living providers in Fayette County.
Azalea Estates holds an Assisted Living License from the State of Georgia, not a Personal Care Home designation. That distinction matters for your family.
A licensed assisted living facility is held to a higher regulatory standard than a personal care home. Our on-site licensed registered nurse and LPN provide up to 16 hours of nursing care daily. Our 24-hour on-site staffing means qualified help is always within reach, not on-call from across town.
Our approach is simple: we develop a care plan around each resident with input from family and their personal physicians, then deliver exactly the level of support needed, and nothing more. Independence is always the goal.
Tailored, tiered, and always respectful.
Personal care services are tiered to match each resident’s needs. You pay for what you use, and your plan adjusts as needs change over time.

Everything taken care of, so family can just be family.
One of the most meaningful things we hear from families is that after a parent moves in, they stop worrying and start visiting. That’s what we’re here for.

Assisted Living — FAQs
Who is assisted living designed for?
Assisted living is for seniors who want to maintain as much independence as possible while receiving support with some activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, or mobility. If managing a private home has become difficult but a nursing home feels like too much, assisted living is typically the right fit.
What makes Azalea Estates different from a personal care home?
We hold an Assisted Living License from the State of Georgia, a more rigorous designation than a Personal Care Home. This means our staffing ratios, nursing oversight, care plan requirements, and state inspections are held to a higher standard. We are one of only two licensed assisted living providers in Fayette County.
What’s included in the monthly rate?
The monthly rate covers your private suite, all utilities and cable (except phone), full building WiFi, three daily chef-prepared meals, weekly housekeeping and linen service, emergency response systems, and access to all wellness, activity, and community amenities. Personal care services are added in flexible tiers based on assessed needs.
Can you help with long-term care insurance?
Yes. Our admissions team is experienced in helping residents apply and submit monthly claim forms for long-term care insurance. Many residents have a substantial portion of their costs covered through their policies. We are happy to help you understand your coverage and manage the process.
Are assisted living fees tax deductible?
Under many circumstances, yes. Medical expenses for assisted living care, including the personal care portion of the monthly fee, may qualify as deductible. We recommend consulting with your accountant or tax advisor to confirm what applies to your specific situation. Our team can share general guidance to bring to that conversation.
How is the care plan developed?
Before move-in, our Resident Care Director meets with the prospective resident, their family, and their physician to complete a care assessment. We build an individualized care plan from that assessment, reviewed and updated regularly as needs evolve. Family members are included in every meaningful update.
Five floor plans to choose from.
Every suite includes a private bath, kitchenette or full kitchen, individually controlled thermostat, and windows overlooking our landscaped grounds.
We visited several communities before choosing Azalea Estates. What made the difference was the nursing staff on-site and the fact that they’re one of only two licensed facilities in the county. That credential matters when you’re trusting someone with your parent.
